Bali Travel Blog 12th July

Hey there!

Sorry for the absence since our last post, we have been pretty much busy enjoying the beauties of Bali for Day 4, 5 and 6.

So since our last update, a few things has happened:

For one, we experienced our first power outage! Apparently one of the main generators in the area exploded, leaving the whole region electricity-less for a few hours. Thank god it happened in the morning, so aside from the lack of wifi and air conditioning, we survived the outage by laying by the beach. Not a bad way to endure a power cut I reckon.

We’ve also ran into a couple of Caucasian tourist who had their ATM card eaten by the machine and the shop owner was telling them how it doesn’t open till Monday (it was Saturday then) and they had to wait it out till Monday for the people from the bank to return their card. He was arguing how he didnt have any more money left and she just said there was nothing she could do.

But on a brighter note, we’ve survived our week long Yoga/Muay Thai training camp! :)) So we have since left canggu beach and headed up towards Ubud for some well deserved R&R.

It was an hour long drive up, but hundreds of KMs and USD$30 later, this is literally my view now:

We’re going to be at this Villa for a couple of days before heading to another.

So don’t forget to follow us on our Instagram and join us on our Bali trip.
