2nd Earthquake of 7.4 magnitude hit Nepal

Despite all the relief efforts our Singapore travel Blog has been undertaking over past the couple of weeks, all seems to still be going downhill for Nepal as a 2nd Earthquake struck Nepal near Mount Everest today on the 12th of May.

The quake struck Northeastern Nepal near Mount Everest with a magnitude of 7.4 on the Richter scale. The severity of the quake could even be felt as far as from the capital of Bangaldesh, Dhaka.

This is all after the mega quake that took the lives of over 8000 in end April. With all the rescue efforts still in place to aid the previous quake, one can only imagine the number of people affected by such a major quake. The situation there was described to be of “utter panic” in the capital.

Our hearts and prayers are with all in Nepal and we pray for nothing more than your safety and well being.
